Meifod Community Council consists of 11 elected councillors, and meet usually on the fourth Monday evening of every month, in the Village Hall, Meifod. 

Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings.

The main aim of the Community Council is to represent the interests of the community, and forward any complaints/concerns/queries or comments on to the relevant bodies e.g. Powys County Council.
